music: "Waking Up To Us," Belle and Sebastian
Nothing interesting really happened today, because so far I've spent my time pretty much on my own. I refilled the bird feeders and cleaned out the birdbath, because I love to watch the pigeons flapping around in there. Little bit of laundry, little bit of straightening, and several naps.
I've been so inhumanly sleepy for about three days now. I don't know if you've ever seen the movie Rat Race, but I am reminded of the scenes in which Rowan Atkinson ("Mr. Bean") falls asleep mid-sentence. I'll be reading, or sewing, or listening to a song, and off I'll nod. I'm seriuosly beginning to wonder if I could be a narcoleptic. Well, okay, I admit it, I just like saying the word narcoleptic.
I'm nearly done with Tender Is The Night. I'm thinking I should do some cool book-review type thing on here, but I'm too lazy to work out the details as of yet. I recently discovered Laura-Jane's movie review section, and I sat and read all of the reviews in one sitting. Laura-Jane's diary makes me smile.
It's overcast and quiet. Rather than sit and brood about things I'm going to go fall asleep on my book. Cheers! :)
