I will be taking a small hiatus from the grand world of online journaling. The movers came and packed up all of our “little” stuff today, and tomorrow is the furniture (including the computer) so I won’t really have access to anything for awhile.
I move into college on Saturday. I may use the computers there until my parents bring up my computer in mid-June. Until then, I will be updating far less frequently.
I must include the most recent amusing conversation, spawned by our discussion regarding Ewan’s accent in “Down With Love.”
The Amusing Conversation
Roxie: He’s an astronaut, and he has a hick accent. He’s probably from Houston.
Marjorie: No, no, space was in Florida back in the 60’s.
Roxie: Um, what?
Marjorie: You know, Cape Cod?
I really am not quite sure what I was thinking during that conversation, or even that whole day. But we’ve gotten a good chuckle out of it. And further proof that the year I bleached my hair, the chemicals seeped through my skull and rotted away my brain.
