music: "Intuition," Jewel [yup, the new CD! woohoo!]
Okay. So. New things have happened. New characters have surfaced. (Speaking of which, I ought to update my 'cast' link.) New.. um.. okay that's all the new stuff. But I shall elaborate.
The cool thing about being an English major is that everything is painfully easy. I'm taking ENGL 275, Intro to Literary Criticism. That is basically code for Senior Year High School English. It's terribly simple. We're not even studying any novels, just poetry and a few short stories. Granted, it's only a five week course, but even still.
My professor is amusing, but very intelligent. I shall refer to him as Prof-S. His thinking process seems to echo mine (or perhaps the other way around.. sigh). He would say something, and it would strike a match in my mind. I would go off on a 'thinking tangent,' and before I knew it, sure enough, there was Prof-S, following right along in his lecture. Impressive, isn't it? I thought so. I also appreciated that he included #7 on his policy list: "You are required to have fun." Piece of pie, man!
I have yet to experience my Eastern Civilization class, but it sounds promising. The subject matter interests me, and that's really all it takes for me to thoroughly enjoy a class. Especially a five week class.
Many new faces moved into our dorms yesterday. My "B-Suite" is now almost entirely full, sans one room. The girls are, for the most part, very nice. I like it here.
And I bought the new Jewel CD yesterday, so I'm pleased. Tres bien. :)
