Okay. So today was better. I was sooo tired during Economics. If it weren't 2 hours I could deal with the fact that it begins at 7:30. In the fall I'm taking a 7:40 class but that's only til 8:30. Not 9:30. So in Economics, when 8:30 draaaags itself along, I think, if this were fall, I'd be out of here already. It's a comforting thought. :-)
I went all over town with Liz today. We went to the Student Union to sell back her summer books and buy her fall books. Turns out -- she had two books to sell back -- on one of them, the store had just met its buyback quota, and the other book had no value. Zip. Nada. Zero. So that sucked, but then we went to buy her books for the four or five classes she's taking in the fall and they were out of every single one. What are the odds? Poor Liz. She blamed it on the fact that I was with her, and she was probably right. She tried to order them on a computer at the little java stand but everytime she clicked on a book it told her that her cart was empty so we just gave up.
Then we went to the Rec Center (a.k.a. the gym) where they had told us she needed her schedule to activate her acct. She would have gotten it ages ago except for that damn schedule thing. So we finally get her schedule and go today, only to find out that they don't even need it. Arghness. Plus, to get there I had to parallel park and I must admit I did a bad job. So we are going to practice that somewhere. I never needed to parallel park until now!! Suddenly, every freaking place is a parallel parking thing. I think it's because our campus is downtown and therefore so is everywhere we want to go.
We went to Hastings where they bought back some of my cds (I needed the cash) and then the mall and Wal Mart where I bought James' birthday presents. I already have them for my brother and for Jennifer, so now that I've got James' I am TOTALLY DONE shopping for at least two months. Woo hoo for me!!
And now I'm going to the gym.
