music: Dragons & Tigers mix for John
I am getting a headache. College life is so stressful! Okay, well it's not college life exactly, because really I love that. It's just college administration that is stressful.
To illustrate.
I went to the housing office to ask if I could move into my fall dorm from my summer dorm on the same day. They told me not only did I get a room in a completely different building than I had requested/paid for, but I am registered for the wrong meal plan and I have to vacate my dorm an entire week earlier than they'd told me before.
That took forever to straighten out.
Plus my car isn't starting again so I've been stuck on campus for about two days. Well that's not really true. Yesterday Liz and I went to Leo's and got a cheese pizza and a 2-liter of Dr. Pepper, then proceeded to the park to sit in the shade and devour the pizza, passing the bottle back and forth between us for long swigs, followed by long burps. It was just great. :) Liz is too fun.
I found out that my roommate's name is Jennifer. That has the potential to get confusing. I am sure I will not like her as much as I love my best friend Jennifer. But I hope I like her, anyway.
Speaking of which, James & Jenn arrive for their visit on TUESDAY!!!! Must go clean room.. reservations.. etc.
So much to do!!
